Initiatives and Requests for Support
The Health Administration Center at Gifu University has been dedicated to providing comprehensive services that nurture students’ physical and mental well-being since 1974.
Our goal is to enhance students’; ability to manage their own health and achieve lifelong wellness. In Japan, suicide is the leading cause of mortality among young people. To protect the lives of our students, we place a strong emphasis on mental health support.
Additionally, the fight against infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, novel influenza, measles, and COVID-19 on campus is an ongoing battle. Our efforts go beyond simply managing individual illnesses; we strive daily to ensure a fulfilling campus life for all students. All health support services provided by the Health Administration Center are offered free of charge, without any restrictions. While some universities charge fees for these services, Gifu University remains committed to providing high-quality services to all students free of charge. However, to sustain this initiative, we rely on your generous donations. We kindly ask for your support through contributions based on the length of your academic program.

We ask for one unit of support for those who have completed two years of study, two units for those who have completed four years of study, and three units for those who have completed six years of study.
Transfers from financial institutions
Please use the enclosed “Bank Transfer Form”. Please fill in the necessary information on the transfer form and complete the procedure at a designated bank or Japan Post Bank. You may also use other financial institutions, but you will be responsible for the transfer fee.
If you wish to use a bank ATM or Internet banking service that does not go through the Gifu University Foundation website, please contact the Gifu University Development Office after filling out the donation application form. However, you can use ATMs at Japan Post Bank that are equipped with a “money transfer form” to transfer funds. Please download the donation application form from the Gifu University Foundation website.

Tax Incentives
